How tf did FNC win? are they actually LANimals? I couldnt watch the game coz i was alseep. How do i explain to my kids that Fnatic managed to beat C9
edit: watching a vod review of FNC and they played really smart

C9 L hype

C9 played terribly, they were whiffing so much. Idk if it was LAN nerves or if they were overrated (or FNC a bit underrated) but honestly FNC should’ve won by more and almost threw.

Not to take away from FNC though. They played pretty well. I don’t think it’s gonna be enough against VS though

C9 first time LAN , FNC already LAN experience prob made a different , also Leaf looked like me in my ranked games in the last map

More like C9 choked but FNC were better than people expected tbh

I think it's mainly down to people underestimating them after their mediocre domestic tournements in the past couple months. The random rough comps they played, had people assuming they'd struggle.

fnatic do still have a lot to work out, given they nearly lost two maps from a comeback from 11-7, which they lost 11-13. then the fracture map at 12-6 which they got taken to overtime.

them being a lan team, or c9 having lan jitters. Dont think it was either. There were times both teams looked rough, and times where both teams looked great.

Fnatic underestimated plus maybe lack of experience impacting C9's performance

Bruh I looked at leaf in playercam and I was like: isnt that how ShadowisBAD looks in his rankedgames?

I never saw the reason why people were saying that fnatic wouldn't even beat full sense, they were finalists in the first LAN and took on sentinels with very close maps in every series. Imo, I always thought fnatic would win.

FNC could have closed it out in a swift 2-0 but they choked which is kinda uncharacteristic

Fnatic trolled the whole game, it was so obvious too, they brought last map to overtime just for a laugh and then destroyed clown 9 in the last two rounds

People forgot that FNC was 2nd place in Iceland.. they didnt qualify for masters 3 cos they were eliminated by Liquid which almost eliminated Gambit on the berlin qualifiers. They are still a great team

Fnatic players were hitting their shots. Derke was on fire. Even players like Boaster who has looked pretty bad online showed great fragging at times. They just played better than what I expected. They had some great ideas and their comps were nice. While C9 just looked kind of lost and Leaf couldn't get much done. This game almost was 2-0 for Fnatic, but C9 managed to do comeback on Split and almost on Fracture.
All I can say is that I can't wait for Fnatic vs VS Fracture. Both teams seem to be pretty cracked on that map (as long as Fnatic learns to close out games).

NA love to hype their dogshit teams xdd

Only thing I can say about FNC win, they better build Derke a statue in the hq of Fnatic
