i was banned for smurfing ?

i lost my main account and because of it i made my secondary my main account. I only reached max plat 1 in this account, but it was deranked to silver
i started to grind to rank up and yesterday i reached gold 2
today i woke up to grind again and i was banned for 3 months wtf ????????????????????
