Would splitting Americas even help SA?

The current teams are already shit and now you will need more people to fill extra team slots, the scrim quality will also barely improve. The only good thing coming from this would be no visa issues for regular season and stealing 2 champs spots from NA teams.

Ofc at least SA wouldn’t have to deal with visa problems

no it wouldnt, but atleast br hugbox will be isolated from the rest of us. they can sit there and beat each other and feel good about it, and come to international get stomped go home. like league, or cs. riot wanted to give brazil some importance and a chance to grow with mixed region, but obv theyd rather live in delusion and be happy w being the best in brazil

? apac is a mixed region. makes no sense coming from c9 flair either. and br is literally bottom 4 in americas, the whole region missed playoffs. idk how you think they can get better if you just isolate them further vlr is retarded

Everyone saying yes but LoL watchers now it isn't that simple. They gave SA their own league and everything went downhill for the region. Not a single LTA South team is competitive enough to realistically fight for any international and it doesn't seem like that's gonna change any time soon. The overall level of the region sadly tanked. The fact that itd be a franchised league would make things worse.

Furia beat C9 at ewc who people thought got robbed of a spot at msi though and they were never going to fight internationally to begin with considering how NA is doing the region is fine and will maybe improve at least in valorant the skill is close to start so it can only go up

There's a reason why leviatan went full international instead of only SA players. Skill diff

latam becomes a real region so yeah it helps (no reason why they have 2 teams that's such a scam)

Isn't LATAM part of LTA North in LoL? If so then they would stay with other NA teams

maybe, Idk abt how it went it lol, but from the outside with the informations that we have as of rn (which means pretty much 0 info) it would either be a pretty successful idea or an absolute disaster

the current teams have gotten worse and worse due to visa issues and bad management. there was a time where SA was a strong region.

also the scrim quality would improve, more chances for talent and better recruitment for orgs. the best rookies this stage are legit from SA so saying they wouldnt improve is stupid lol

Mind you it was this way at the beginning and guess who won Champions? LOUD. Guess who reached semi-finals at Champions? KRU. Even Leviatan made it to 4th place
