the top lpl teams tend to compete well, just never win for the past 2 years. the biggest problem is that despite the population + viewership the top talent is spread very thin. more of an infrastructure issue than anything because Korea's academy pipeline is unmatched due to them needing to work with their lower population much more delicately
Bro doesn't know anything about league lol. Also more players doesn't mean more talents for eSports always. League esports interest is dying in china and young talent base is kinda dead mainly cause of the declining interest and government rules. And the remaining talents are spread a lot in many orgs cause of contract jails and such things. And top teams are still very competitive but lpl is for sure degrading year by year tho.
And for Korea it's esports. No need to elaborate much. Probably the only country where esports is so big almost as big as sports.
