What you're talking about is mathematical probability which is, for all practical purposes in sporting events, not relevant.
Lets assume we send infinite more teams to the event, all of which consist of noob players (like you)
Then the mathematical probability of one of them winning would be 100% (tending to 100)
But when we consider other aspects like skills and experience, we know their probability of winning is almost 0.
