It seems you stopped watching commpetetive Valorant as of late and thats totally okay! But it appears like you missed the extremely lucrative Esports World Cup event for Valorant that ended around a week ago.
Europe was immensely successful at this event and had 4 out of 4 EMEA teams make it into the playoffs which were ultimately won by Team Heretics. And now get this... All of the 3 other EU teams were only eliminated by other EU teams! :O
What an incredibly impressive performance that is, right? Reminds the avid VCT enjoyer of the most impressive tournament from a regional standpoint, Champions 2021. Truly a legendary feat.
Americas is only the worst region if you look at their ceiling. Their top teams aren't as good as the top teams in other regions, which is what people usually base things on because those are the teams they see on the international stage. Americas isn't that bad, they're just more centralized around the middle; low current ceiling, but not that low current floor
No china is the worst region still. But after them it is americas. There is 0 competition in that region and the same teams qualify for every international (G2, SEN, aspas and friends, kru) every time. its not that they are far better than anyone else, its just that everyone else is fucking dogshit and are all paycheck stealers (Asuna, etc.). I feel like EMEA and APAC overall have much better comeptition for the top within the region
