my ideal format

8 partnered 4 ascension to keep things fresh
points don't qualify u to champs, they qualify u to regional playoffs

same kickoff, 3 qualify to masters 1, 3 points for winner, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3 and 4

stage 1- full round robin with points per win, 8 team playoffs, 3/4 to masters 2

Mid season ascension- those 4 teams regardless of their record play ascension, allowing new teams to cycle in and out

stage 2- 2 groups based off of stage 1 performance, but 4/8 of the playoffs teams are off stage 2 wins and the other half is based on points, so teams with a shit stage 1 but good stage 2 can still qualify to playoffs

end of season ascension- same as right now

wld it be too hard because of time constraints? idk but it wld be a good format imo

if riot can find an ideal schedule for this it would be a very good format

i feel like making a mini T1 for bottom T1 and top T2 could maybe save some time ur format requires ALOT of it keep T2's formating as it is add in the bottom T1 teams for qualifying so they have 2nd chance being a T1 org to make it to event while running thru on T2's already made schedule slightly reducing time burden

maybe throw one of the groups in T2 schedule or maybe replace T2 all to together and make it a extension of the qualifying system a 2nd chance qualifying spots for bottom T1(making the investment still worth) and top T2 chance at a run this might have to force us to franchise a set number of orgs in mini T1 so no more random team of 5 tearing up t2 but atleast with that bleed cant happen again since there will be proof of good management over the years

problem with this maybe loss T2 as league all together and or val losing open bracket system all together in T2 burns alot of set up time so maybe not worth it all together and money 4X problems

i really like this, but they need to make sure to keep the right teams for franchising

Not a problem in China, Amer and EMEA, but big problem in APAC where it's hard to boot any team... You can boot one JP team, but hard to pick the 2nd team to boot, SEA team all represent a specific region, the 3 Korean team are too big and historical to get booted, and India need to develop, plus Vietnam and Oceania desperately need a team. "8+4" Is doable only if you split Asia and Pacific with 2 group of 12 but... with how Valorant develop in APAC seeing at premiers number, it would be doable in 2031 (Maybe not in 2027).

Like in LoL ? Fair enough, but thebest team in point should be qual directly, and regionnal playoffs for the other is good

Bad, 12 team tournament in kickoff cause a lot of problems of format, we need to push it at 16 and qualifiy 4 team in T2 to have the good number and gives stakes to T2

Switch stage 1 and 2 and we are good, Champions is the event that is the most important so it's the one that deserve a full round robin.

Only the 2 worst team among the 4 should participate, if a team go to champions it's good they don't go to ascention. As I was saying in my previous video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lijZr9d2lcA maybe it's better to make Ascention before champions, and give a chance to the winner to qualify into champs, thats also solve the issue of team in champions having to go to Ascention.

Sounds fair timewize, we can't have 2 full round robin, but we can have 1 full and one group
