I mean I could (and most of my projects require me to do both sooo), but realistically imma be a frontend junior first and maybe in some couple years experience I can move on to be a fullstack dev

Yes it’s kinda hard to do a personal project without both tbh
Full stack is great cuz it lets you have the entire picture and not rely one someone else for implementation, but your get a lot less specialization

what I need to do now is get better at css though, I rely too much on tailwind and don't really know good practices with css and have a basic-intermediate level with it

Work at Hustler's Universityâ„¢

In all seriousness, I work in the cybersecurity field, and it's what I plan to work in for the rest of my life thankfully.

Intern & Networking is almost required in this line of field nowadays given how competitive it continues to get, though it also depends on what you specifically want to do in this field of course.

how exactly did you start networking - like training workshops?

and what age did you start interning at, were you still in uni?

Networking is different for everyone, I was close with a lot of people who also studied CS, and they also knew people etc, it inevitably landed me an internship at a company that one of their fathers owned.

I got my internship almost instantly after finishing Uni, and it lasted exactly a year, it was also paid.

My advice would be to get an internship as soon as you can, even better if it's before you graduate, get some experience, after you graduate and your internship ends, try to find an entry level job in the field you want, whether it be some mediocre one just to get a foot in the door, and you'll inherently network from that alone.

No worries, it's very competitive and can be daunting sometimes, but well worth it if you love CS.

This sub-reddit has a lot of info that could be useful too, though just ignore people yapping and telling people to go work in a regular trade job; https://www.reddit.com/r/cscareerquestions/
