they are saving power for playoffs they have even said they felt like they werent even close to their best against mibr so they made sure to have a good week of prep against nrg. i agree the team shouldnt get overconfident but this region is very weak right now outside of a couple teams no point using all of their strats for leviatan who has stolen half their playbook from g2 lmao.

this saving power or strats on a ever changing game as Riot games are is stupid imo. They should be keeping sharp, i will support them nonetheless but I think that saving or taking it easy it's not a good practice. G2 still has a lot to prove and this "we own this league" or "everyone is so weak compared to us" narrative is not good i think.

dude i agree but like do you really believe any team in americas can really test g2 at full strength? maybe by champs but like right now half of the teams are in shambles or have made roster moves. you cant really get good practice when your this far ahead its like what edg experiences in china.

Yeah i know, but let's be real; all teams here are putting some effort and looking better each week compared to last year (except from FURIA and EG who look the fucking same as they started) 2G has stepped up, 100T has shown improvement and even now LEV played a great LOTUS a map where G2 is yet to see defeat. I don't like this idea of giving them an edge, if they have the chance to stomp them they shoudn't let it go to waste.

I think G2 are wrongly conserving energy. They should stay sharp. Not using their best strats gave LEV the confidence to snag some criminal rounds, flawlessly too at that. Just go full engines for couple hours, end the thing, rest up for the next match, repeat.
