Are we thinking it was worth it? Serial hasn't looked nearly as good as he was in T2 so far

Yes , kamyk wasnt a bad player but he made many rookie mistakes which costed us some rounds. He did clutch few rounds for us as well , but he is very inconsistent compared to serial

serial is better fitted for liquid, kamyk kind of selfish player

Cereal hasnt had the chance to really prove himself but i personally really rate kamyk and im really angry they got rid of him

If you look at the interactions between TL players and Kamyk, it seemed like they just stopped vibing together. So, even if Serial is not an immediate upgrade, TL are better off with a player they feel better about.

Serial can find his footing with time. He got thrown into uncomfortable roles with little prep time; I think he will get better (shooting wise) as time goes on. And he's already had an impact; TL showed flawless defense halves with him on Deadlock. Especially on Lotus, one of their worst maps in Bangkok. TL with Kamyk on Lotus was so lost that I think if they had actually had a default comp on Lotus, they might have even beaten Vitality in Kickoff grand-finals; they had that much momentum in that match, going into Map 3. I think this double sentinel meta suits TL with Serial, and nAts can call around it well.

We'll have to see if this comp holds up as well when opponents have VODs on it, but I am optimistic. They seem to get better each week.

Yeah his Deadlock is clean I'll admit that

Kamyk was the top tier 2 player of last year and serial is just patitek with a stache. Ofc serial clears. /s
But in all honesty Kamyk was super impactful fragging wise however his utility as a role that’s not init was good in throwing the crucial rounds. Serial is just better util wise in non init than kamyk even though he is worse at shooting rn.

serials deadlock utility was key to their 13-1 against fut on lotus.
he's currently playing a very supportive role, mostly staying back and living for his abilities he hasn't been given the chance to shine yet

They are both great players, it's just serialkiller being more consistent and kamyk being a better fragger.
