vct pacific is unbalanced from the start

it doesn't MATTER if there are more generatiobal talents at SEA, they can't beat any of the big KR teams (T1 and DRX)

this region is doomed. APAC is large enough to include TWO sub regions, namely APAC North + East (East Asia and Central Asia), and APAC South + West (SEA, SA, OCE)

more opportunities for miniscule regions in esports to become one of the best in the near future

Riot plz at least take this idea into consideration

if they can't beat KR, why would you think they could beat the international competition even if APAC was split in half?

so you think players will spawn out of nowhere and just kill everyone? no they need tournament to grow and SEA have nothing like that

autistic ass take

by that logic u should be playing in a Tier 1 team by now

are we literally splitting the region or are we creating 2 new regions

more opportunities for miniscule regions in esports to become one of the best in the near future

by this logic should middle east and africa be 1 new region too?

u want 6 regions?

just split APAC to 2 regions

so first masters has 10 teams? second has 15? champs has 20? huge tournament groups issue ensuring poor formatting

Nah T1 and DRX are as invincible as they look
Honestly anyone who makes playoffs can win stage 1

Asia is already divided into 2 regions another is unnecessary

if teams that aren't East Asian are ass thats just a skill issue

I meant APAC excluding CN

I keep forgetting that Riot has a separate region for the CN market

but if u look at Pacific players playing in stage 1 there are 32 players from East Asia and 29 that aren't from East Asia and there are 6 teams from East Asia and 6 teams that aren't from East Asia

East Asians are just better idk what to say man

its not like one region has any advantage, they both have tier 2 leagues and tournaments and have an equal amount of teams in tier 1

"East Asia is just better"

That's the whole fucking point, no SEA team will qualify for Toronto and Champs this year

SO???? thats literally just a skill issue lmao

why are u demanding an entire other region as charity just because the teams aren't good enough

VCT is supposed to be a competition not a fairytale

the Japanese teams are ass too what do u want them to do give Japan its own region to be nice since they aren't good enough to compete?

it ain't a competition no more

everyone keeps forgetting T1, DRX, and NS exists

also GEN might bounce back, although Suggest needs to be benched

#15

so ur point is that non east asians are just inferior and need their own charity region because they aren't good enough?

thats just kinda sad lmao

JP, Central Asia, South Asia, OCE, and TW/HK also need to face KR teams regularly

that way every team can improve drastically

ur point isn't making sense

whats ur point tho? ur acting like Korean teams being good is a bad thing

what do u want them to do purposely throw and match fix against other teams to be nice or smt?

it just means that this Pacific will turn to VCT Korea, NO other teams HAVE THE CHANCE to qualify

THEN GET BETTER LMAO

ur acting like Riot is giving Korean teams an advantage or something

theres an equal amount of East Asian vs non East Asian teams in franchising

KOREA IS SIMPLY BETTER, cry about it

a Chinese team won champions while they were considered behind everyone else

if teams can't beat Korean teams and qualify to internationals IT MEANS THEY DONT DESERVE TO QUALIFY AND AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH

SEA has SIX teams that get to practice against the best teams in the world. if you give them a separate region, sure they get to go to more internationals, but... so what? they get to practice against other top teams? why is practicing against G2 and VIT better than T1 and DRX?

two big korean teams... maybe if the future masters and champs had 3 and 4 slots so SEA could take some of those?

In 2023 prx beat/dominate big korean teams. also some other teams beat them 1 or 2 times.
In 2024 also prx beat big korean teams. also some other teams beat them 1 or 2 times.
In 2025 those korean teams not looked that much strong against sea teams so far. riot changing stuff fast so some teams struggle with adapating fast even also some korean teams specialy GenG/NS.

2025 not over yet and your point is baseless because it's still start of the real season.

No team stays on top forever. SEA will have its moment, just like every other region that was once doubted. Splitting APAC just to make it easier for SEA teams to qualify is a bad solution, true competition means rising to the challenge, not lowering the bar

Why aren't these people saying let's kick the US out of the Americas? SK's PAC dominance is less entrenched than US's.

I mean you are just saying this as recency bias it's been balanced the last 2 years in 2023 prx and zeta made it to champs and in 2024 talon and prx made it this year kr is dominanting but it's only the beginning of the year and the others will catch up
