who is right now the better duelist? i feel like zekken at his best is a better more impactful player but jawgemo is more consistent, zach will deliver a 10/10 game every 4 games while doing 7-8/10 games in between but jawg delivers consistent 8.5/10 games

I agree and I'm pretty sure Jawgemo literally has a higher peak. Jaw 104 kills at Bangkok while zekken only had 101 at Madrid

I don't think Jawgemo is consistent. The only truly consistent duelist in the world is Aspas. Jawgemo has underwhelming games fairly often

As much as I like Aspas and believe he's the GOAT, he's nowhere near as aggressive as Jawg and there's a reason people call him a baiter, it's much easier to be consistent playing like that.

you dont need to be aggressive as a duelist to be the best, aspas led the entire kickoff in first kills btw and was the most aggressive duelist ITW before 2024

No I know, but comparing Jawgemos consistency to Aspas' consistence with the way Aspas plays now is a little ridiculous, I say the aggressive thing because it's so much harder to be consistent in doing it.

I agree that Aspas is less aggressive than Jawgemo.

It seems like you agree that Aspas is more consistent.

Yes, Jawgemo's playstyle is super aggressive, which makes him have bad games more often, but it does create some space for the team. So, he is not consistent.

to me it feels like zekken pretty much never makes a wrong decision and is more methodical. jawgemo is more like the stereotype raze player with insane movement, when it doesn't work it looks pretty bad but when it does it's magic
