What do u guys think about lev, as a LATAM representative, with only one LATAM player? In my opinion this sucks cuz it seems just like another NA team that used a LATAM slot.
localkoolkid [#3]Used to be a fan of them in 2022 and 2023, but like wtf are they doing bro, they would rather get Natank over a Latam player lol (I love Natank but cmon now)
Natank was a crazy import choice i like him but they also just do him dirty iirc someone on the team said the issues were definitely fixable

Its not the first time they do this, last year with nzr at xmas was brutal af
bobwoblob [#7]Doesn't seem much different than other teams with 0 representation from the region they're supposed to represent (KC/VIT with 0 french players, GE with 0 indian players, TH with 0 spanish players etc).
It's not good but it's a consequence of how Riot setup the leagues/the rules they have in place.
you said "other teams with 0 representation from the region they represent" and proceeded to say a bunch of countries instead of regions. LATAM is a set of countries my dude, it's different just due to that, Lev didn't even get players from any of the other LATAM countries.

they said issues were fixable but the management didnt wanted him

EMEA is historically accustomed to international teams, so your comparison is essentially saying that the exception is the rule.
I've seen these sorts of discussions a number of times. But I think the right question is, if orgs aren't representing the region they're supposed to, then wouldn't it be better for Riot to just sign another org in the first place?
In this case , why should Riot partner with Lev in the first place when LEV just ends up signing NA players which countless amount of NA orgs can do
Huitzilopochtli [#9]they said issues were fixable but the management didnt wanted him
Yeah but that's kinda the problem especially considering he was their import flying someone out and kicking him so quickly over fixable stuff isn't really good for either him or the team since they now have extra pressure to perform or they might get benched as well
like i said on other posts i believe this current roster is just a filler and they will be back to focus on latam next year with most of their academy team coming of age
but either way lev management is kinda clowny cause why are you investing so much without a proper organized plan (Natank, Nzr, etc) like i know things change quickly but either let them happen and organically evolve or just plan better because two straight years with late roster changes is a bit of a red flag
