will u give a roster enough time to start showing good results or are u going to get rid of it immediately?

As an imaginary esports org owner, I'd first talk to my coach and then find an independent reviewer to confirm, talk to my scout for any replacement and then I'd deliver the verdict.

But then again if they only lost by a hair I'd just keep the roster imo

I've never seen anyone come up with that answer before. But that's very smart to begin with!

Ideally that's what I think should be a standardized process. But it takes time and ultimately replacing a player out of a sudden means you're paying 2 players' salaries, one for the new replacement and the other for the one who got replaced. Yes,, the contract still goes on even though he didn't play for the team anymore.

That's what I thought too. Many people here do not realize the business point of view of the franchised partner teams. I'm very surprised a business-minded person is in vlr of all sites.

It's just one way to look at things. There are many things to consider just like #4 and #9 pointed out

entirely depends on context. if it's an issue outside of the game like arguments or someone clearly not fw the rest of the team then it's way easier of a decision to make as a manager. if it's performance then let them cook for a bit before talking to the coach/staff and slamming down the hammer

Ah yes, I forgot to consider chemistry perspective.

yeah idk it feels like people always forget that management's job isn't just sitting on their ass and firing/hiring people. a lot of information and context is needed for decisions to be made. Managers are closely in-tune with team dynamics and practices. the entire thing is a business after all

Damn it feels like I'm reading a textbook 😂😂😂 which I don't mean as an insult btw. Those sentences are usually something that I'd see coming out from textbook lol

Make a 6 man roster and swap the 6 man in and out before the international

it depends, for example if i have roster like vitality, alot of money and big players, if it doesnt work out then replacements need to come in quick, because these players dont lack experience neither skills, but lets say for a roster like GE, filled of mostly rookies, i would give them time to learn and improve because they lack experience and onstage feel

Vitality got results tho (4th at bangkok). How does that change the process?

I think he is trying to say that hypothetically, VIT didn't achieve any notable results. If it didn't work out then replacements need to come in asap.
