i genuinely dont understand the EMEA challengers format this year

is it not the best teams from each subregion qualify to one big ascension tournament at the end? what is this

memea has unfair advantage in slots even in GC. Brazil with Team Liquid and MIBR, both better than G2 Gozen and only have one slot.

yeah you're right, but this isn't ascension

I think the best way to think of it would be a tier 2 EMEA 'Masters' tournament. Then think of Ascension as a 'Champions'
