I feel like I'm living in some alternate dimension where everyone thinks mikes is somehow this god level coach and that chet is awful
chet has an extensive career in cs, he's praised by tons of top level players that have complimented his insight and game knowledge. people act like he did nothing for NRG and TSM when in reality both teams improved significantly with him, but he couldn't magically get them to qualify
meanwhile mikes i have literally no context on, his only "accomplishment" is Envy's stage 3 run. So let's talk about this.
Envy were already a top 4 team in NA, and then picked up someone that is arguably the BEST player in NA, playing the agent with the MOST influence and impact in valorant.
With literally 4 days of practice with yay they managed to qualify for Berlin. Do you think in those 4 days they were carefully studying vods with their coach, or simply getting comfortable with the squad and just grinding simple strats with yay?
Mikes then could NOT attend the event, and thus was not involved in any of the matches in real time.
Let's remember that it's not like Mikes was some genius that brought a brain to Envy. They are not a team of idiots that run around shooting and needed some sort of guidance.
FNS has literally been one of the best NA igls for almost a DECADE now.

This is in reference to all the redditors bitching about the chet pickup, saying that mikes is way better and that envy are ungrateful, stupid, making an awful move.
What do you think it implies? Because to me it's pretty clearly saying "MIKES WAS NOT AS HELPFUL AS EVERYONE THINKS"
thanks for coming to my ted talk
