This is rewriting of history how dare you
well we are all waiting
i think for the way c9 was running the comp, where they played back and did fast retakes, it makes sense if you know that the other team is playing viper to run both breach and skye. i wish we'd been able to see how they planned on running offense rounds with that comp
the only 1v1s he was getting into were after being pushed off by utility, his teammates all dying around him, in bad positions, against players that knew where he was. everyone has a series where nothing goes their way, this was one of them
the last time we saw v1 play Penny was extremely quiet and people were saying that he needed to be dropped since effys was still performing incredibly. now penny looked like the return of jesus and effys had a bad tournament and the narrative has completely flipped
dude is playing sage on icebox attack, his job was to plant the bomb and hes playing against a raze, viper, killjoy and astra dumping util on him the second he starts to plant. nobody is going to have a great statline playing that role even if he wasnt playing well
I agree there had to be something we don't know about in terms of Mikes because he was coaching for them for so long and they never negotiated a deal with him, yet they were willing to sign Chet despite not having seen his impact on NV for very long at all, but i will say that saying that NRG improved a lot with him, and thats coming from someone who truly wants NRG to be a successful team
There HAS to be something behind the scenes that caused NV to not pick up MikesHD if theyre this willing to pick up Chet as a coach after leaving Mikes in limbo for so long even with their results
Keep in mind theyre trying to rebalance the rank populations, and i believe that one of the ranks that they were decreasing in size was immortal
Oderus, its been all but confirmed
theres a 99% chance they already picked up Oderus and have been practicing with him they just havent announced it yet
I've heard pro players say that they get crushed by NRG in scrims and we all know that doesn't translate to actual tournament performance
i dunno, watching nitro play astra his utility was excellent, it felt like he was anchoring as well as zombs does and it felt like he had more impact on his attack rounds than zombs, plus Ethan only plays it on the one map so its hard to actually compare them
A true king
they have a majority of EU players and they play in the EU qualifiers, how exactly are they not from EU?
you cant say that fnatic and liquid werent even top 3 teams at the time when they were still the teams that won, and being at the top requires you to actually win. You can say you think that one of the other teams from europe may have been able to match up better than fnatic or liquid but again, they didnt win
steel is one of the more aggressive players on 100T tho, he essentially never is the one who flanks and he relatively often takes contact so Asuna or Ethan can trade him out. Its not like every player on a team can have godlike aim unless you're Sentinels, and he plays his role extremely well.
