I have the same gpu and cpu combo, works pretty good on modern games (about 70-75fps high on kcd2 for example). I would upgrade ram to 2x16gb, its always a good thing to have more for future games.

get ryzen 5 7600 if its not too much price diff
try 6750? for gpo
ram defo needs to be 16*2
rest you can keep same i guess
dont spend much on looks imo, just go full performance, buy just decent and good cabinet for nice airflow
get 1TB ssd, games getting too big and unoptimized, 500gb wont hold at all. from personal experience.

650w might not help if you planning for over 3-4 years

yeah. I mean only if you want to upgrade later on. It's definitely enough for now

I was actually thinking of buying a gaming laptop but I heard that gpu and cpu performance reduces by 30 to 40 percent so for the same price and specs I built this desktop

Battery, keyboard and screen hinges also start giving up after a certain point, other than mobility there is no point in getting a laptop
