why val crashes so much nowadays?

i at least got my val crashed several times this week alone.
im glad it was not while i'm playing but in the lobby. still fucking sucks when u have to force close it and restart the game.

Thats probably the reason there, a reinstall is most likely the fix

I think that's your PC. I have no issues with mine. Worst case scenario check your storage health. My old sad was at 70% health and I ended up needing a new one.
