You understand that calcuting is a thing in chess right? And analogys are not 1:1 examples right? So when I say "lets not play chess because computers calculate moves better is similar to lets not learn how to calculate because calculators exist" thats an analogy right? If you think the analogy has to have every single dynamic with the main point the exact same you are stupid

I'm saying the analogy doesnt work not that "it's not 1:1", nobody makes hard calculation anymore, and everybody uses calculator. If you say "look at this car flying as train" and I answer "Cars dont fly" you cant answer "It's not an analogy 1:1"

Okay lets make it more similar then, do you think the existence of calculators take away from this competition of how impressive it is or how cool etc whatever is the enyjoyment people get out of this, its the same thing when magnus carlsen finds an incredible move and people enjoy watching that game or enjoy playing chess themself to have moments like that. The point of the analogy is that the machines don't take away anything from human to human competition
