Unpopular Opinion: Dodonut Messed Up

• edit to say that yes, it is likely SRG would have lost regardless, this isn't a post claiming they would have won with her

I got downvoted to oblivion on the comp subreddit for saying this, but I think its a real loser move for Dodonut to ditch during vitally important relegation games just to go on a (leisure) vacation. Even if it was planned and known about beforehand-- you would think she could make an exception knowing they are fighting relegation after finally making t2 after 2+ years. Does it necessarily mean they would have won if she had not gone? Nobody knows. I don't think the situation is totally comparable to job holiday. I was honestly really impressed with Dodo's gameplay before, but I'm kinda a hater now :(

TLDR: Praying on Dodonut's downfall and think it's reasonable as a fan to hold a grudge.

Not her fault her team is dogshit and that game had to be their relegation game.

Yeah I mean, definitely a bad look on her part. Kinda crazy the other players worked pretty hard to play in Challengers and their last match to potentially avoid relegation, she was just a no-show. Like you said, I doubt her being there would've made a difference but she should've been there instead of having a good time in Japan lol.

Another crazy thing is she hasn't even tweeted anything since about why she's in Japan and didn't play.

Right! The bad look angle is what I'm going after. And people are trying to act like its unreasonable for fans to be upset. I would understand if her grandma was dying or she was sick, not because she would lose money on cancellation fees and be inconvenienced.
