I'm not the right guy to comment on this you should do actual research on it.

But from what I understand it's mainly violations towards people who basically anything but straight male

all i know is i cant wait when a team goes to the event and fails to qualify for champs the laugh threads are gonna be amazing looking at you 100T.

I mean im really not enthusiastic about watching game changers play in the World Cup 😭 imo its totally okay if all vct tier one teams can play because they are the ones we actually wanna watch

The context for EWC

Used as sportswashing, basically forces the teams which attend the event to say how cool saudi was (check X of every org attending EWC and how they will give props to the hotel, catering, venues and stuff), also is hosted in the summer either during or almost after pride month, so orgs like Liquid, Sentinels and HEROIC, which are all quite clearly liberal in their views to become two-faced

That's not the issue. Their overall human rights are the issue. If you think nation who for example gives death penalties to people just for being gay should be one of the leading nations in esport (just because they have money), then I guess you would not have issues with them. But realistically any reasonable person would have issues with that.
