The prep is usually done for 2 years entirely, tho some people start in middle school itself , total chapters are about 70-80 , daily gotta study like 8-10 hours if u want a good score tbh , lot of people are sweaters especially ones who are preping for the exams for like 4-5 years

jee is of two types
- mains
- adv
1.6 million people give jee mains out of which roughly 150k people are selected for advanced
we get two years of schooling+ two years after schooling for jee mains (fact check this someone) and two years of schooling+ one year after schooling for jee advanced.
jee mains difficulty can vary from easy to moderate/difficult, there are like two attempts for mains (jan and april) and 10 sessions every attempt.
each session papers are unpredictable, for example my session (28th morning shift) was the hardest hence, for lower marks you get higher percentile, and another session (24th evening) was the easiest hence, for higher marks you get higher percentile.
jee advanced has one attempt in may, its difficulty varies from hard to extremely hard
