Yep exactly what I noticed. The skill level of teams are very close to each other now. There's no longer that super dominant team like the OG SEN roster, and pretty much every region has won a trophy. This makes Valorant more exciting.

Yeah, the upside of it being 8 teams is that the level is play is high throughout the whole event, which oddly enough I didn't really feel last year
