all of 2021??
bro it was only Reykjavik. he was average-sometimes good at best after that and his team wasnt performing either
thas like saying Demon1 was the best player in 2023 (when Leo and Alfajer were CLEARLY gods the whole year)

meanwhile Gambit attended 2 finals in a row (nAts invented like 80% of Sentinel setups people use today and Chronicle was always getting 3ks and 4ks with Vandal against teams like Envy)

also ur forgetting about Chronicle on Initiator vs Chronicle on Flex

here are my non-biased lists for top 20 every year: https://www.vlr.gg/371303/top-20-players-vlr-edition/

nah tenz was the best before Reykjavik too he was shitstomping regionals. based on eye test it was pretty clear he was the best and he proved it at Reykjavik.

also demon1 was the best player in 2023. he murdered everyone at champs and was cooking in regionals, not as hard as tenz but going pretty hard. he would have been the best at tokyo too but demon1 had visa issues so he came late. they were scrimming with reformed until he showed up last minute. They weren't sure if demon1 was coming in or not. So EG at Tokyo were pretty much playing as if Reformed was playing, and they still did incredibly. If demon1 was there from the jump they would have actually scrimmed with him the whole time and pretty easily win the event.

I didn't ignore it, I said previously that sen as a team was just fcked after. they had no coach, had to rely on shahz igl, and z0mbs. also they were being studied more than every other team so they got hard read.
