i think it means a lot because G2 and EDG are a bit scary even for vitality. EDG because they had so much time to improve since champions, and G2 because their teamplay is impeccable.

It doesn't really work like that from my experience. Sometimes a team just hits a sweet spot and it doesn't have to necessarily carry over to the next tournament
