The Grand Finals of last year's Kickoff had 823 008, this year's Grand Finals the viewership went down 400.000 viewers and its not even top 3 most watched. What do you guys think its the main reason for that? (Also I think its cool to see MIBR dominating the charts, since they used to be the team no one cared about)

553k was the MIBR vs SEN game. I was comparing the finals of this year (424) with the finals last year(823), because it went down a LOT

yes but even the EG vs LOUD game of last year, and the Top 5 GROUP STAGE game of Leviatan vs LOUD still had more viewership than this SEN vs G2 Grand Finals. G2 cant be THAT boring can they?
I mean your answer is literally visible in the trend . The finals didn't have a Brazilian team thus missing out on Brazilian viewers . Sen has certainly dropped their fanbase by about 20% due to losing Tenz and hence aren't capable or even the biggest team by viewership in Americas anymore. While Brazilian fans loyally supported every good BR team first holding onto to a dangerous looking LOUD but their elimination saw shift to MIBR who accompanied by Aspas fans were the biggest fanbase in kickoff and MIBR vs SEN final was your only hope of breaching 600k mark , no other final matchup other than maybe LOUD vs Sentinels could have gotten bigger anyways

Yeah, could be some of the brazilian/south american viewership missing, but its still weird that it went down 50%, its like VCT is struggling to create new superstars that actually attracts more people. These G2 players have been playing in VCT for longer than Aspas for example, but they still dont really move the masses to watch. Could be their playstyle or lack of past achievements too i dont know

DBStudios [#14]MIBR vs SEN only got so many views because it was a high stakes game that actually matter + its sen vs aspas so ofc. Grand finals didn't get as many views because both teams are already qualified for bangkok and its g2 😴😴😴
But last year the 2 teams in Grand Finals were already qualified too, and that game was the #1 most watched series of the event by far. Its weird that the Grand Finals of a event is not the most watched game. This years finals even had a small trophy and last year had nothing, just a "congrats, you won" xd
