My story began when i was 12, when i started watching csgo, i watched faze vs c9 eleague boston major and i fell in love with esport, i was never very rich so i saved up money to buy computer for around 400$ at 14 years old, when i was 15, i reached faceit lvl 10 with average fps 70.
After some time i upgraded the pc little bit and at the age of 16 i reached 3000 elo. I dreamed of being a pro, i tried everything, played 10 hours a day, tried quals for fpl-c. I felt like i was good enough but something was lacking and i was very sad when i couldnt figure it out. Around 3300 elo, at the age of 17 i quit cs because i started playing valorant. I instantly fell in love with the esport and the game. After some time i reached immortal and i felt like i kept improving. Now, 2 years later , i am 19 and still around immortal 3. I feel like i tried everything i could, even tho i loved valorant and loved the mechanics of the game, i was never able to get as good as in csgo. After wanting to be pro for 7 years ive come to realization that it would be best idea for me to give up on my dream since i have to go to college.
To all the up and comming young players, dont give up until you have to.
Also im kinda drunk and sad that i never got to succeed even tho i loved esport throughout 1/3 of my life. Idk whats the point of the thread lol
