Their best teams are obviously as good as the best Amer and Emea teams, but my god are both regions soooooo top heavy

True, but less too heavy imo, especially as the season goes in
Kru and mibr just had an incredibly close game that either could have won, and loud vs sentinels was also close

Am I crazy for thinking that Pacific is more competitive than EMEA? emea basically only has the competitive TH today, and one promise which is the VIT.

do you even watch the lower teams lmao it was 2-1 galore.

I can accept we're weaker overall, but top heavy ?? I don't think so

How can you be weaker overall but not top heavy? That would mean the top teams of pacific are worse, which is clearly not true from geng’s past performances

Top heavy is like G2 breezing over all teams in AMER. or VIT/TH in EMEA

All the top 3 were struggling against the lower teams this kickoff.
T1 vs BOOM was close
DRX vs NS was close
GENG vs RRQ was close

so no, I don't think it was top-heavy, at least this year.

*Additionally, the matches between lower teams were also super close, like RRQ vs NS, BOOM vs NS, GE vs DFM, TS vs GE etc.

Americas is literally one team region

I always thought top heavy was more so how bad the 4th place team could be, essentially how hard it is for a team to make an intl tourney from the region
The fact that talon made 4th in kickoff and made champs last year leads me to believe that other than the top 2/3 teams in apac, all the rest are quite easy to beat

Americas is literally one team region

Sentinels in form could make a decent run, as could mibr. But also, Kru/Loud could also easily beat any of these teams except g2 and could make an international as well.

It might be the case last year, but this kickoff I've seen some improvements from the lower teams (and maybe regression from the top teams) so overall skill level is kind of closer.

it feels like all regions are top heavy this year. EMEA has koi apeks Americas has 2G furia and pacific has ZETA GE. and mid teams are not as good as top teams

If wolves are placing 9-12th you must be the most stacked region

pacific is competitive but all teams are as strong as they used to be last time while comparing to like americas for example imo
