Honestly I'm in sort of a similar situation (my stats are much worse though)
I recently tried switching from duelist to initiator and yeah... It's not going well

I’ve played a lot of initiator and honestly it sucks man
I had this same problem. Thought I could win more by playing clove as I could frag and my team would always have smokes so I only played her for I think 51 comp games straight. I was right-I did carry but we almost never won. Despite team mvping almost all of my games I deranked 3 times so I gave up said fuck it and have been instalocking Jett ever since and it works wonders. I frag out and play insane and can carry my team to wins
Of the times I played clove (51 matches straight) I went 26/51 or just above 50% winrate
Of the times I played jett since then (31 matches straight) I went 23/31 or around 75% winrate
