Genuine doubt
Why do na fans support ANY TEAM from ANY REGION when they are playing against a brazilian team?
I've noticed this since 2023, whether it's KRU/LEV in the Americas or teams from the 3 other regions in the Champions

i personally love brazilian teams, i think the divide happened in 2022 though

people either learned to love the loud optic rivalry and liked watching both teams like me or they grew to resent the brazil region as a whole

that being said, for this game it is because lev has NA players, but i understand what you are saying

I think that too, and I understand, in any case this doesn't work for KRU and teams from other regions

Honestly the only time I disliked BR was at Lock in, Fan's only cared about their team, I understand the hype for the home team and that's fine, but anytime a non BR team plays it was ZzzZZzzz in the crowd.

As much as I'm not sure, I believe the reason is LOUD 2022/2023, NA fans couldn't stand seeing all their teams getting beaten

isn't it the same every VCT season for NA though? like look at the SEN vs LOUD game, can you tell me to who the whole audience was cheering to?

I agree a bit, But its always SEN fans the most whoever they are playing, just the biggest fanbase especially around Riot HQ I guess.
There were quite a few LOUD fans there too though.

You have to understand one thing, in Brazil there are few people who have a comfortable financial situation, the ticket to watch ANY game costs on average 150 to 300 Reais, even if converting is cheaper, I'm talking about purchasing power, imagine you in the USA paying 300 dollars to watch a game? Too expensive, right? Now imagine paying 300 reais to watch VIT x Global and FUT x RRQ? Obviously, days with only foreign teams would have low attendance.

Look for videos of these games, see the difference in the noise from the crowd when Navi won a round and when Loud won a round

Yeah that makes sense, would've been cool of Riot to lower the price for more attendance with that being the case with the cost.

We don't claim LA as part of NA.

I understand the frustrations but I explained above why games were empty when there were no brazilian teams
