JP viewership lost because DFM lost vs SEA viewership saved thanks to Talon?
Though Laz is going to continue with his watch parties so I guess quite a lot of Japanese viewers will still tune in.
highlyte [#2]Laz has only been watching Japanese teams lately, I don't think he will broadcast the final four
He said by the end of today's stream that he'll continue to watch Pacific until finals. Besides, he really seemed to enjoy GENG v. DRX

well then I think most Japanese people will watch only because Laz is watching
bubblecattxx [#5]I think if this trend of Korean dominance continues pacific will see a gradual loss of viewership over the years unless pacific starts winning some international trophies. VCT Korean teams just don't have the global pull that LCK teams have
If Korean teams start to dominate we'd need Valo Faker who everyone could root for (or against) or PAC is actually doomed.

hope they start losing on league then
videte [#6]i think japanese viewers will still watch the match but not having any japanese or prx will surely affect the viewership from japan
Nah you can tell the views are declining.
Last year non japanese match that's not prx or geng will get you 20k on YouTube.
Now it's just 15k iirc
But DFM really saved the views this time tho.

closest example i think is probably primmie since everyone was so hyped about him. But is a valo faker even possible in this game? Its so hard to stay consistent and dominate as long as faker didwith so much meta changes
