indo has 250million+ population compared to kr's 57.1million. real nice comparison.

Each representatives needs to carry their own weigh i.e gather enough viewers to gain sponsors. Gathering SEA viewership will not gather enough relevant sponsors. Why?
https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCL/2024/Japan/Split_2
Take a look at their sponsors. Notice how except ZOWIE and Yamaha most of these are domestic companies? When we're talking about sponsorships domestic companies reign supreme ( tbf it really just depends on how many sponsors coming from local vs outside , but it's easier to attract local sponsors). All of these companies are here because of masive domestic viewerships.
Sure, pooling your viewership means your pooled peak viewership will be 1/3 of Jp's peak viewership (that's not how peak viewership works but let's just say for the sake of argument) , it just meant that each subregions except ID and TH cannot survive on their own, meaning Riot was correct for merging the region.
Even TH and ID with that "massive " views didn't attract many sponsors. What makes you think others can survive relying on just Riot's money?
Jp earned their privileges for their commitment to the scene, stop acting like Riot intentionally favored just because.
look who's the organizers
sponsorship pulls rely on who made the event
this proves my point that riot decisions are solely based on the ad revenue percentage & sponsorship practicality. basically its easier to manage if its nearby. it would be different story if riot use their office in singapore to make a LAN there not only in seoul. just like ESL does who manage dota and CS2 events
are you dumb? you chose to compare indo to korea (still had less peak even with more population) so I put in JP as another point.
self-sustainability isn't just about viewership. its crystal clear you did not read ANY good points from lonlywatchvcj and myself. i only brought up viewership stats because you were crying about it.
Keep crying about privileges when both JP and KR had to work their ass off and get to where they were. No excuse since Japan was more focused on non-pc esports but still made their way up to where they are now.
you are using the word "privileges" as an excuse and the "facts" that you gave isn't even the necessary facts since all other facts that VCJXD and I provide are just ignored lmao.
not being defensive if I am correcting your mistake.
seems like you are bitching about it because Indo teams lost and got emotional, so you are complaining about riot not being charitable enough and keep waiting for years until all of sub-regions in SEA are on the same level of revenue as JP. While saying JP/KR had advantages and even complained about events being hosted in Seoul. again, you just ignored the facts and changed the topic.
