What made Demon1 so good on EG?

Obviously, I know potter is a great coach and all, but still, based on that year, demon1 should be playing better than he has in 2024 and now 2025. I know its early in the season but still he's not playing well at all.

Honestly cause the team system works for him. A lot of duelist players that at the top actually need a team of strong players to synergize around them. Notice how so many duelist fell off when they switch teams. That's why Kangkang is never leaving EDG.

in 2023 he was still grinding rank and stuff. Nowadays he does the minimum while stealing paychecks.

look at how EG used Boostio on attack and u will have ur answer, Jawgemo/Boostio massive space creators and Demon1 didnt always need to go with the pack, he had the freedom to get timings while his team pressured somewhere else so he can try to get fights, he would be much better if he just played smokes rn

After his insane season in 2023, idk why teams haven't tried to build a system around him tbh.

I mean i just don't get why these players so quick to just leave a team after winning. I guess money talks but yeah u never know how good u have it till u leave. Top duelist really need a good system around them.

i dont think demon1 nor any of the eg players had a choice to stay

Even they reunite together they won’t achieve anything, time has change yet, duelist are required much more now than before
