whenever a new act starts, i always start with big losing streaks (for example this act I started with 0W - 8L. Literally no exceptions. I have played like 10 acts fully in valorant and I always start with loses
after a while I start a multiple but smaller winning streaks, reaching immortal
then i lose like 100-200RR in a matter of 2-3 days with some lose streaks
Towards the end of the act, I get in winning queues and maybe get a new peak in immo 2-3
and whenever i play a lot and lose a lot, I get into more and more unwinnable lobbies, but if I stop playing for a while after a losers q, the next day(s), I will get into winning queues and get some of my RR back. It has happened so much in many acts that I dont see how any other way is possible
Riot already has a scumbag shop system to make 15 year olds buy more skins than they normally would if they had a steam-like shop, so it isnt out of stretch to think that the people working at Riot designed the ranked in a way to make people spend more time in the game. More you play, more skins you will come to love, and more money you will spend in their shitty and outdated shop
