donkie [#3]I just want to know why Japanese people are not as good at playing Valorant as other countries.
Cuz nobody want to pay 1000 dollar pc for this corny ass game
Poh1238 [#8]rid scarz exist
tbh,i have watched the recent matches between these 2 teams and i feel they are still not consistent enough, mabye because of language issues.
1ucid [#12]tbh,i have watched the recent matches between these 2 teams and i feel they are still not consistent enough, mabye because of language issues.
Nowadays to get into t2 jp your japanese needs to be fluent, english just won't cut it anymore

There’s no way you’re saying fennel is consistent if you are talking about “consistent” team this team lost to scarz, lost one map and close game with Sengoku, fav
Igz is just weird and washed for no reason after performing decent in split3
IonlywatchvcjXD [#15]What's the point in getting imports if you still ended up with these kind of results...
DFM AC and Zeta AC prove that most of these orgs are short sighted af
NFX, let's start with esperanza, get rid of nostalgia and develop local players lol
just realized, if Riot didn't allow Academy into tier 2 this year the whole league would just be recycled players from last year LOL

i hear the salary in tier2 japan is very good
1ucid [#17]i hear the salary in tier2 japan is very good
It's not as high as people make it out to be, only big orgs like scarz and fennel have the luxury to pay those salaries. Either way a lot of those salaries end up going to imports anyways, this does not help the scene at all.
bubblecattxx [#16]just realized, if Riot didn't allow Academy into tier 2 this year the whole league would just be recycled players from last year LOL
Nah there are new faces around that's not AC teams so I'm not concerned about that. But NFX, SZ and RC are looking very complacent imo.
Hell, at least IGZIST looks way more respectable because they're actually using their academy players unlike SC0RZ who just import their way in

I agree with academy part cuz many org can’t make academy/ young player to make pro level player cuz they lack on coach and lots of things for education

putting a lot of money into korean imports is really not worth it.player like esperanza do not deserve it.
Poh1238 [#20]I agree with academy part cuz many org can’t make academy/ young player to make pro level player cuz they lack on coach and lots of things for education
Do these orgs academy teams actually put in resources and effort to help these players? It feels like they just sign the player just in case they become the "next big thing". ZETA Academy seems like the only one that bothers putting in effort for their academy players
1ucid [#21]putting a lot of money into korean imports is really not worth it.player like esperanza do not deserve it.
I've been pointing that out from the moment this account was created and I was treated like a lunatic.
Jp t2 rn doesn't need this many imports

They do, they assign different coach purely for academy teams, having them play premier, etc. I don't know if this is just basic or not but I think they definitely do something.
IonlywatchvcjXD [#23]I've been pointing that out from the moment this account was created and I was treated like a lunatic.
Jp t2 rn doesn't need this many imports
many import players don't play as well as they should, the really good import might be joxjo, can communicate fluently in japanese and serve as igl

In terms of Japan, DFM is probably on the newer side and has less resources for now compared to what ZETA has done. But a good org will support its development of its players and constantly giving them opportunities where they needed it (ie Premier, maybe T3 tournaments)
Just look at the Korean academies.
IonlywatchvcjXD [#23]I've been pointing that out from the moment this account was created and I was treated like a lunatic.

i like fl very much beacuse theyu are pure japanese lineup and seen to have the hightest ceiling

I think they lack on experience, zeta academy had crazy good coach which is vorz who’s now riddles coach and caedye ace yatsuka was ex zeta academy they have model to make tier 1 worthy player and other does not
1ucid [#25]many import players don't play as well as they should, the really good import might be joxjo, can communicate fluently in japanese and serve as igl
I think:
Joxjo and Jan are good
Lob and Gwangboong are ok
Medusa have something to prove.
Sayaplayer is looking washed
Hate esperanza and Ken are unnecessary
Yoshii is complacent

The import Japan really need is coach and not player to be fair
Poh1238 [#30]Is This is the thiefy ionlywatchvcj talking about? Him and yowamu need to keep this kind of number against better team but they are good for now
Both of them joining northeption has always been a mistake lol.
Yowamu was turned to controller.
Thiefy was made to flex everything
1ucid [#27]i like fl very much beacuse theyu are pure japanese lineup and seen to have the hightest ceiling
Fennel looked good in scrims so I think they definitely has something to show for.
Poh1238 [#32]The import Japan really need is coach and not player to be fair
I agree on this tbh, but they need to make sure the coaches don't do anything funny and ended upbactually importing players lol
IonlywatchvcjXD [#33]Both of them joining northeption has always been a mistake lol.
Yowamu was turned to controller.
Thiefy was made to flex everything
I mean if you want to go to better team you need to adapt and able to convert other role but for a first 2-3 yowamu should stick with duelist and now thiefy is 20 and veteran he can play controller good.I would say experience in northeption was good
I really like northeption for experimenting like academy and cooking roster
IonlywatchvcjXD [#35]I agree on this tbh, but they need to make sure the coaches don't do anything funny and ended upbactually importing players lol
Lots of org don’t feel like coach have full decisions and I would say with set of analyst and sub coach getting foreign coach is good I think

I think now Northeption is great as well, it's just the change is very drastic lol especially on yowamu, it really made you think that northeption at that time made a huge mistake for mismanaging the roster.
