Tier 2 scene is so bad that in like 2-3 years no org is gonna actually wanna stick around and will just try and buy the spot of whoever did win ascension instead of spending tons of money on trying to qual for it.

I mean it's obvious to even Riot they hv accepted it we need to wait for 2026-27 when current contract of franchising teams run out you will definitely see a semi-open system in future

They made it even worse with the whole SOOP deal too

they have to open up the scene a little bit, add a few open slots to masters event etc, the csgo way

otherwise tier 2 scene is dead already
