they had a month or so to adapt a rookie into their system after shanghai, i don’t think you should be worried at all. lotus was one of their worst maps and ended up being one of their best
also. i think tejo will debut week 2 in china thats what i heard

You get stars for posting. Usually you get them within 250 posts, but it can be quicker or slower depending on upvote/downvote ratio. I got 4 stars at 209 posts, for example, and on the complete opposite end of the spectrum there are people who never get a single star despite having several hundred posts
