Currently unknown. I'm hoping it's a reset every 3 acts (i.e. 6 months), but they haven't said anything yet. Anna did say, however, that they'll be sharing more over the next few days, so I guess we'll get the answer then

I would personally prefer if one would be in january, and the second in june/july. or either make it like league, only one in january. i think it would be better in general.

Nah there needs to be a way to cleanse out all of the boosted players imma be honest 1 reset per year sounds horrible

Update: this is from the 10.00 patch notes

Starting in 2025, VALORANT will no longer be using Episodes. This year we’ll be introducing a year-long calendar called Season 2025.
- Each Season will last the whole year and is broken down into 6 Acts so we can celebrate a year-long journey with you.
- Ranks will be resetting at the beginning of Season 2025, and will also reset again at an upcoming midseason moment.
