It was my favourite skin in VALORANT back when it came out, and honestly might still be... my friend bought it for me as a gift in December 2023—it was my first skin, in fact
My two usual setups are black/gold with the Harbor buddy and red/green with the gimbap buddy. :)
Also this goes without saying but Sentinels of Light Phantom slander will not be tolerated

Cavalier was a premium skinline in a battle pass that ended almost 2 years before I started playing the game
(Also frankly it's very ugly, I would never spend money on it)

Ironically, of all the skins I own, Prime Vandal is one of the ones I'd be fastest to replace. Don't get me wrong, it's very very satisfying and I love hitting shots with it because the kill banner is one of the best in the game. But I love having great variants and Prime debatably doesn't have that, and it also feels very vanilla compared to others Vandals of the same tier or higher (e.g. Champions 2023, Imperium, Sentinels of Light, Kuronami, Overdrive, and Elderflame, to name a few of the ones I like). I have felt at times a little bored of it, albeit never for very long.
At the end of the day, Prime is satisfying as hell :D

I get that perspective. All I can really say to that is this: once you use it for a while and get past that initial thought, you can grow to like it. I personally LOVE spraying with this Phantom—it almost seems designed to sound good while spraying. The pullout and reload are also very well crafted, both in vfx and sound design.
I will say that the sound quality on different headphones also plays a part in this. When I play with earbuds, it does sound a little airy, but with certain headphones you can hear more of the bass frequencies so it sounds like a heavier Phantom than it actually is.
Prathades [#14]I just use the skins that I like. I do have an outlaw rgx but I prefer this bp one since I prefer the original sound on this ion look alike and not spending radianite is a plus in case there's a skin I like
Idk how I feel spending a good amount of money on a premium skin and then using a battle pass skin over it, but regardless I'm a fan of your collection, seems very well put together :)
I will say that I think the buddy you have on your Vandal would look better on your Phantom. Just a thought

I bought the RGX bundle which is why I have the outlaw but I still prefer the bp since the sound is better. I know I can just use the original sound on my rgx but it doesn't feel right without the animation. So rather than stressing out the little things, I just pretend I don't have one.
