riot should add a map preference (meaning i have higher probability of getting ranked matches in maps of higher preference/ lower prob. of getting ranked matches in maps of lower preference)
why? because i dont want to go 0W-10L on a single map and get the same map everytime

Facts lmao riot tried to make vertigo 2.0 and they succeeded cuz everyone fucking hates abyss. Ngl abyss is worse than pre reworked vertigo cuz mid is so fucking awkward to play and its not even the first issue with abyss. I would rather play vertigo than abyss in valorant

Yes. I didn't download Valorant in 2020 to play Ascent until the end of time. I enjoy playing this game and I want to learn new maps when they drop.

lets put it like this, i pick ascent/split on high preferences for like a week or two, i win but i start getting bored of the same maps, so i put other maps on high preference and play those maps, this preference thing is to help players get their suitable matchups, also to prevent riot from spamming the new maps 300 times when they get released

I would not want map queue times to be influenced by the playerbase like that. It's that simple. I don't want to be sitting in queue for 10 minutes and then looking up some stats website and finding out how the trends for right now affect my wait time.

I know "spamming 300 times" is hyperbole but this really sounds like a you issue. Check your tracker and show me if you're actually getting Abyss substantially more often than other maps.

Hell no. I have already seen way too much of Ascent and Bind, and not enough of Fracture and Lotus. I don't want it to be even more lopsided just because gamers hate change and blame new maps for being hard stuck.

Then any time a new map that I like drops I'd still have to sit through 10 minute queues because of all the cowards who put it low priority out of fear of losing RR learning it

This is kind of a skill issue. The whole point of having multiple maps is to present new challenges and prevent the game being stale. No map is dogshit, only you are dogshit at a map.

I'm absolutely a shitter, but hey I own it.
