no, if anything cned was carrying acend all the way through from regional masters 2021 to champions, and zeek only really popped off in the games towards the end of the tournament. that is definitely recency bias.

Nobody really takes any domestic results into account so that just leaves 3 events.Same thing happens in LoL, T1 swept all the awards despite only being the best team for the last 3 weeks of the year.

The LoL one too doesn't make sense Geng was undoubtedly the best team until they couldn't beat t1 at worlds. guess people just judge based on recency.
