anyone tried it?
is it any good?
I tried playing but everyone just disconnects
i checked it out. honestly it's really unfun just cause your opponents are so bad. there's only one map which already makes it pretty repetitive, and
on the top of bad enemies, somehow your enemy doesn't know the map even though it's the same one. your teammates are also likely to be miserable and that's if they even join the voice channel. had 1 little guy and another guy just blasting music into his mic. i lowkey wanted to push to high ranks just cause it was so easy but my friend got off 😪
feels like r6 gunplay + csgo except no lean which already makes every a lil awkward
it's pretty good to play on ps5, kinda cartoonish and mechanicallt easy but building shit is hard, you can just camp it's pretty fun there's like a river which heals you and jump pads, a floating space ship so it's fun but only casually. not good for ranked i think but idk I might be the most casual fortnite player ever. only play with friends on ps5.
its battle royal was good a few years ago
me and my friends stopped playing when they started to add crazy over the top stuff like aeroplanes
i havent really played it since besides a game here and there for old times sake
it seems like they're sort of trying to become a platform for games now
this ballistic stuff seems like a cool idea, I really really like the theory behind the util (everyone gets the ability to buy a standard smoke and flash like CS, but you can get one extra ability from your class/agent).
on a linear spectrum between CS and OW this would be pretty much the opposite of val, and ngl I really like that in theory (val is still executed better though imo)
thats kinda unclear so i made a crude illustration https://i.imgur.com/5kSCiG4.png
I'd like to see val move more towards the CS side of things tbh, it feels like with each new agent/map it moves further and further away from being a tac shooter
