People are overrating spg fr. Yes they look good vs tier 2 teams. So did pretty much all the tier 2 teams last year. The only one who did stuff was G2 and that's because their players are actually tier1 and got a significant upgrade in leaf...
Ranking imo based on off season and 2024(silly i know but its the only time we see half of these teams)
- T1(this is apac fanatic)
- PRX(learn KJ Jing it's not that hard)
- Geng(still solid, but foxy needs more work. And idk why Texture is not performing as well with yoman instead of Lakia, but it's off-season so who knows)
- RRQ(They were the unluckiest team last year and was arguably 5th, and made an upgrade)
- DFM( Dfm copium but they look good)
- Talon(How are you getting worse???? You are now actually a one player team)
- DRX (Severely disappointed in their off season performance )
- SPG (Great team. Actually not a neon abuser if you actually pay attention to them before asc, But neon do buff them alot ans they lack experience in tier1)
- Zeta(idk just feel mid)
- TS (didn't upgrade. Always felt mid)
- Boom(eh)
- GE(YOU COULD HAVE MADE AN AMAZING TEAM BUT NOO, BUDGET CONSTRAINT IT IS. Outside of Kristal and Papichulo i dont have faith in this team. If you are not going to make a master going team, JUST SIGN SKROSSI AND FARM THE INDIAN FANBASE)
wdym ur disappointed in their off season performance???? They played 2 tournaments. was doing okay until last match in both, and for both tournaments they had made massive changes before to test stuff out.
For TEN, the roster had only recently been created
For Asia Invitational, they underwent a role swap and igl change. Isn’t the fact that they played PRX very closely and beat gen g good???
i mean the team is literally 2 months old and experimenting, they should be losing easily to any long term core but have actually did well
