Ping issue please help

So right now I am playing Val. My brother is working remote so we together usE this 30Mbps Wifi connection. I don't know what software he is using but he is working on one screen simultaneously watching a podcast on YT. And I am getting inconsistent high ping while playing val. What can I do?

bruh. I prefer music while working, listening to podcasts while working is distracting also it's about watching podcast while working, if you like podcast you can also listen to them while working? that will also probably help in decrease internet usage/traffic?

Upgrade your WiFi to have 2 bands, one with 5g and one with 2.4G
For gaming, the 2.4G band is honestly more than enough especially something like Valorant and let him use the 5G band.
It'll only cost like 2000 rs (~25$)
