Hey y'all, I'm currently writing my essays for my application to Carnegie Mellon and I wanna talk about esports in my 3rd supplemental essay. I've seen some social media sites like this and this, but I can't find anything else really. Does anyone know if they have a vlr profile or if there is any CMU students here than can talk about it? Thank you! ❤️

Looked like they did when I looked at their socials, I saw a couple Val clips and an insta post announcing their roster, but they prob only play small local lans as a club team or sthm is my guess

its 3% dawg, picking a related field and transferring is your best case unless you're usaco plat or something

it's really hard to transfer within the college at the university, and CS is in the college of computer sciences 💀 so you can bet all of them are super low percentages

all good tho cuz Ik im prob not gonna get in, I'm applying to others ones I will get into as well, this is just my long shot cuz why not yk 🤷

actually that isn't the case. majors like computer engineering, data science, IS, etc are usually between 8% and 11%, but computer science is consistently 3%. its easier to transfer than it is to get into cs straight up.
