Being the best region in Overwatch. how will that translate once the pros enter Valorant?
It'll make a shitton of money for Tencent, no question. The biggest issue is that Chinese Overwatch is fueled by lots of young talent, with one of the youngest players being like 14. Not sure if the current sociopolitical climate and gaming landscape will be as kind to Valorant as it was to Overwatch years ago.
acfzzzzz [#5]valorant is basically not a new game but csgo is ripped off, of course a country with a good history in csgo will be a strong region also in valorant, china is weak in csgo and you know what the conclusion is
I think you're right too that's why asia being the underdog team in master is very different in overwatch
INVICIUS [#3]i dont think the chinese community could adjust to the valorant pro scene lmao (no offense on china people) cuz i think that they the rest of the world just has a huge headstart compared to them.
its actually the opposite, its a lot easier to transition now as there are literally tons of materials they could work on. All that's left is for them to innovate and make a difference as the foundations are laid out already. This is not an RPG game where you will be left out if you started late lmao
