i'd say if we ever have a new one will be if franchise changes in 2027 (end of 2026 is when franchise contracts expire i think) but i really think it will never happen again

How is it a fluke when they won the consecutive Tokyo masters as well? By your logic, Sen winning Madrid was fluke because they couldn't even make it to Shanghai.

to maximise viewership for that kind of tournament, it should happen in asia timezone. China/Japan crowd would come and watch the Americas/EMEA teams instead of leaving and 'not caring' even if their teams don't lift up the trophy. China would be best from budget and production side.
