New LOCK//IN Tournament when?

We gotta have a new LOCK//IN tournament, VCT CN just entered the Leagues. I want to see GE vs Tyloo (The new org, not the player), or DFM vs Furia LMAO, idc who wins, I just need info for my tier list LOL

i'd say if we ever have a new one will be if franchise changes in 2027 (end of 2026 is when franchise contracts expire i think) but i really think it will never happen again

i feel like lock in was to kick start the franchise era as a whole so a tournament like lock in will never ever happen again which is kinda sadge

yes the tournament that have all the orgs and players, i love that but it's really hard to happen again

to maximise viewership for that kind of tournament, it should happen in asia timezone. China/Japan crowd would come and watch the Americas/EMEA teams instead of leaving and 'not caring' even if their teams don't lift up the trophy. China would be best from budget and production side.

its a correct logic because it was a fluke, look at the teams that were there and the teams route to qualify

it was a showcase tournament meant for showing off the 30 new franchised teams

that event holds about the same weight as a knights monthly gauntlet
