Why are people always so high on RRQ? Like they've never achieved anything from the past except from the recent stage 2 where they got to playoffs but fell to GENG. It just confuses me that there's always hype behind that team unlike Talon who went to champs. My post is not meant to hate I just want to know where the hype is coming from.

i never see anyone rate them as high as top 3 team. even top 4 is pushing.
GENG is a master winner btw. unlucky that they have to face GENG in elim matches in both champs qual.

The hype around RRQ fandom itself from indo fans, they have the biggest number of fans and DIE-HARD EXTREME FANS (to certain unhealthy level, i won't explain it any further). Not to mention, almost all of indonesian valo influencer endorsed by RRQ to support and host a watchparty every game RRQ Played. Ok thats why , because they're the team that many fans believe on their peak could beat top pacific team, but their normal game is decent and below talon normal game (which i call middle pack team).

Hmm yeah but honestly top 6 seems high rated for 2025 since pacific has some good looking teams for 2025 like T1, GenG are already good looking plus DRX seriously looks rejuvenated after that Ten invitational , PRX with their incredible map pool as ascent is gone and pearl is back in , Talon somehow is looking good man like they are definitely hitting shots and it's not just primmie show now, SPG definitely a top 6 team, even dfm looks like they can make top 6 if they try hard enough , like it will be tough for RRQ to make top 6

Me too are also wondering why, theres quite a bunch of people who had non SEA flag & pay attention to rrq these days, idk why. Recently theres improvement on their gameplay but Rrqs still mid at best imo
